Agriculture provides nearly half of the world’s employment. Now a day, incredible varieties of methods and technologies are used to maximize the agricultural production. Agriculture is the main pillar of economy to the developing countries.

The present work entitled “Change in agricultural land use” is my own work. This dissertation has been written in simple, lucid, clear and modern style So that the teachers and students of Agriculture and Geography could draw maximum benefit. The use of tables and diagrams are given for the better understanding of the subject matters.

The work has been written with vigor, diligence and best possible accuracy using as many possible sources to maintain the authenticity of the data. The statistical representations of data and maps help to give instant knowledge about the work. Chapter wise distribution of subject matter has been done to easy understand the subject matter.
